Energising and stimulating. Fantastic first thing in the morning. Zingy - a real jump start to your day. Great after exercise. Also rosemary is stimulating for your hair follicles. Round bar fits nicely in the palm of your hand.

Great creamy lather and long lasting bar. Flecked with rosemary leaves for gentle exfoliation.

Amazing soaps

Since being diagnosed with blood cancer my chemo tablets can make my skin itchy and dry. I’ve found these soaps to really help my skin feel great. I’ve been using them for over a year now and can’t recommend them enough.

Great Natural Soap

Bought one of these soaps two months ago to try out and loved it. Lasted me the full month until the next Balerno Farmers market so I could buy another two. Smells great and you can even smell it as soon as you walk into the bathroom. I've no need for shampoo either as it goes really good with my hair. Doesn't dry out my hair or skin like other brands you get in the supermarkets do which is a big bonus. Saving me money and good knowing all the ingredients are natural with no chemicals I haven't a clue about.

Beautiful soaps!

We have been buying soaps from Soap Matters for about 2 years now, when as a family we were trying to cut down on our use of plastic and also, wanting to use a more natural product. All of the soaps we have tried are fresh and long lasting and our orders are always dealt with so efficiently and promptly.
My favourite has to be the Rosemary, Black Pepper and Lavender soap, which has to be one of the best energizing soaps around.
Other family members love the Lemon and Frankincense and also the Sandalwood and Orange - all really, lovely soaps.
I thoroughly recommend buying an assorted box - such a treat to try all the varieties!

Loving Simplicity Face Oil No. 2

Many of us know that „tomato face“ feeling after a glass of fizz…. but the general skin reddening associated with the condition called „rosacea „ is more of a nuisance. Since using the Simplicity Face Oil No. 2 I am very impressed with the anti-inflammatory and moisturising results of this lovely oil. I use it instead of night cream when it can slowly work overnight to produce its skin calming and moisturising effect. Since using the product my rosacea has definitely much improved giving my skin a healthy glow. I also love how with a gentle facial massage it gets absorbed easily and without leaving an oily residue on the skin. The gorgeous scent is also very calming. Thanks Christine for saving my skin!

I’ve spent 10+ years looking for acne solutions, this stuff works!!!

Skeptically, bought a 10 ml bottle of this serum at Stockbridge Market. 2 weeks later I realized I made a mistake in only buying the 10 ml. When it ran out, I went back to market every weekend for about a month in search of Christine and her magic serum. I’ve spent basically my entire adult life looking for a cure for my skin’s imperfections. The only thing that came close to this face oil was a 10 step routine that cost an arm and a leg and took me almost an hour to do. This oil is worth its weight in gold!

My skin is dry but tends to get oily in the morning. And I was continuously breaking out for weeks until I tried this oil every night before sleeping.
It changed everything! My skin has improved, the blemishes faded away quite a bit - and combined with reduced drinking and reducing sugar it really was able to reduce new breakouts.
I also particularly would like to praise the packaging and Christine's efforts to connect with her customers - she is lovely. Can't recommend this enough - I will be buying this for years. I am so glad I ran into her stall a few years ago in Edinburgh!
